Update to Entry Restrictions for Bulgaria

11 May 2021Changes in requirements for entry to Bulgaria
As of 1 May all those entering the territory of Bulgaria, regardless of their citizenship, are allowed entry if they present the following documents:
- A certificate that shows completed vaccination against the COVID-19 provided that at least 14 days have passed since the last dose of the vaccine was taken.
- A certificate that shows a negative test result for PCR test up to 72 hours before entry into the country or a negative result from a rapid antigen test performed up to 48 hours before entry into the country to detect COVID-19. The document must contain the names of the person according to the identity document with which he/she travels, data about the medical institution that performed the test (name, address or other contact details), date of the test, written in Latin method (PCR) or rapid antigen test of the indicated and negative result (Negative), allowing interpretation of the document. - A certificate that shows recovery from the Coronavirus, 15 to 180 days prior to the arrival.
The entry into the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria of persons arriving from India, Bangladesh, Brazil and some countries and territories in Africa is temporarily prohibited.
