Latest Rules for Travel to Bulgaria as of 4 June

09 June 2021In line with the latest Ministerial Order from Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health, all passengers travelling to Bulgaria should present either of these proofs:
- a vaccination certificate for a completed vaccination course against COVID-19. The vaccination certificate is considered valid 14 days after receiving the final dose. The document should include the full name of the vaccinated person as per their identification document, their date of birth, the dates the vaccine doses were administered, the vaccine name and batch number, the name of the producer, the details of the vaccine certificate issuing authority and the country; or
- a negative result from a PCR test performed within 72 hours of their entry into the country or a negative antigen test performed within 48 hours of their entry into the country; or
- a positive result from a PCR or antigen test for immunity for COVID-19 for persons who had the coronavirus infection not more than 6 months from the date they enter the country;
In addition, the entry into the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria of persons arriving from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Maldives, Brazil and countries and territories in Africa, except for persons who are Bulgarian citizens, is temporarily prohibited with the exception of persons with the status of permanent, long-term or long-term residence on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and the members of their families.
