Film screening for 25 Years of Good Friday Agreement hosted by Ireland & UK Embassies

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement the Embassy of Ireland and the British Embassy in Berlin will jointly host a film screening of “Wave Goodbye to Dinosaurs” followed by a drinks reception at the Embassy of Ireland, Jägerstr. 51, 10117 Berlin on 26th April 2023.

Directed by Eimhear O’Neill, ‘Wave Goodbye to Dinosaurs’ is a documentary film (0h56m) that vividly shows the story of Catholic and Protestant women who unite to form an all-female political party, win seats at the negotiating table, and fight to ensure that their policies around human rights, equality, and inclusion are reflected in the Good Friday Agreement. The film features interviews with members of the Women’s Coalition, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Senator George Mitchell and civil rights campaigner Bernadette Devlin.
