The Polish Government has announced a number of additional restrictions in response to the latest Covid-19 developments.

1) From 30 November until 13 December, there will be a ban on flights from seven “high-risk” countries, namely Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe.

This quarantine period may be shortened upon production of a negative RT-PCR test for Covid-19 after 8 days. This obligation does not apply to those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and possess an EU Digital COVID certificate.

3) From December 1 to December 17, a number of domestic restrictions will be in place in Poland:

  • Churches, restaurants, hotels, cinemas, theatres, cultural centres, swimming pools – reduced to 50% occupancy (currently 75% occupancy)
  • Special events e.g. weddings, larger gatherings, nightclubs – max. 100 people allowed (currently 150 people).
