Beethoven and Ireland at Christmas

The Consulate General of Ireland in Frankfurt am Main will hold a very special pre-Christmas concert on December 18^th to celebrate the links between Beethoven and Ireland.

On the occasion of the 250^th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth (which occurs on December 17^th), renowned Irish mezzo-soprano Alison Browner and piano accompanist Thomas Neuhoff will perform a selection of Beethoven’s arrangements of Irish songs (along with some Christmas classics).

The concert will be live-streamed from Frankfurt on YouTube (www.youtube.com/hausamdom), free-of-charge. The concert will also be available on YouTUbe after the event.

Join us as we explore some of these lesser-known Beethoven compositions from the heart of Frankfurt’s Altstadt.
