The Consulate General of Ireland will be hosting a special virtual celebration of James Joyce and Ulysses to mark Bloomsday 2020.
Join us on Bloomsday, 16 June at 7:00pm CT by Zoom for music, drama and trivia all in the comfort of your home.
The program and content will be curated by Katie Gilchrist from the Kansas City Bloom Committee.
In addition to music, drama and trivia, guests are very welcome to prepare a limerick verse in celebration of Ulysses and James Joyce.
Following the 45-minute program, our friends from the Finnegans Wake Reading Group in Austin will host a bonus optional informal conversation about Bloomsday, Joyce, and Ulysses.

About Bloomsday:
Bloomsday is a celebration of James Joyce (1882-1941) and his pioneering modernist novel, Ulysses (1922) which is widely regarded as one of the greatest novels ever written.
About Katie Gilchrist:
Katie Gilchrist is a performer/director/producer living in the KCMO area. She also works as the Artistic Director of KC Strips, an educator with Crossroads Prep, and is a founder of Bohemian Cult Revival.
