Consular Fees
The following is a list of the most common fees charged for Consular Services carried out by the Embassy of Ireland. Payments to the Embassy for all services must be done by bank transfer. Please see details below.

Payment can be made in either Vietnamese Dong or Euro. If you are paying in Vietnamese Dong, the current Euro exchange rate will be confirmed at the time of payment and applied to the fees listed below.

The fees charged for consular services such as issuing passports and visas, foreign birth registrations, authentication of documents and administering oaths are fixed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade by way of Statutory Instrument issued under Section 3 of the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Provision of Services) Act, 1993. They are subject to review at the discretion of the Minister.
Payment Details
Payments to the Embassy must be made by bank transfer or by cash at our office in Hanoi. Please note we can under no circumstances accept credit card payments for this service.

For individuals residing in Cambodia and Lao PDR, please note that you will need arrange a courier service to deliver your documents to the Embassy. When your application is complete, the Embassy will contact you, following which you will also need arrange a courier service to collect your documents from the Embassy in Hanoi and deliver them to you.
