A very special programme showcasing Vietnam's Culture was held in Dublin on the 9th of September, organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism, and the Vietnamese Embassy to celebrate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Ireland.

As part of the programme of events to celebrate 20 eyars of diplomatic relations betweenIreland and Vietnam, the Embassy of Ireland is pleased to bring the Stormy Petel exhibition to Hanoi. The exhibition reflects on the role of women in a key moment in Irish history, the 1916 Easter Rising.
Stormy Petel Leaflet is open to the public at Cuc Gallery, 5.Floor at the Women's museum in Hanoi from 27th May, 2016 to 27th June 2016.

Irish film joins European Film Festival in Vietnam in May
Irish film 'Kings', directed by Tom Collins, will join the European Film Festival in Vietnam in May 2016. There will be screenings in Hanoi (19 and 21 May), Danang (21 May), and Ho Chi Minh cith (17 and 22 May).

Cuc Gallery, Vietnam Women's Museum, and Cultural Ireland, with support from the Embassy of Ireland, will present the exhibition 'Stormy Petrel/ Guairdeall/ Bài ca Chim báo bão' (2016) in Hanoi, which is a sound and image collaboration by Irish artists Orla Ryan, Alanna O'Kelly, and Brian Hand, curated by Vietnamese artist Pham Phuong Cuc.
Featuring a multi-layered sound installation, documentary performances and montage images, and accompanying artists' book and CD, Stormy Petrel explores the forgotten history of a group of revolutionary women couriers in Ireland 100 years ago.
The exhibition will open on Friday 27 May at the Vietnam Women's Museum, 36 Ly Thuong Kiet - Hanoi, and will be displayed until 27 June 2016.
