Minister of State Gerald Nash leads Trade Mission to Poland
Minister of State for Jobs and Employment, Gerald Nash T.D., leads an Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to Poland on 18 and 19 May.
Trade between Ireland and Poland continues to grow. In 2014 Irish exports to Poland grew by 18%. During this time, exports from indigenous Irish companies grew by 25%. The Irish-Polish trading relationship is worth €1.5 billion annually. Trade by small and medium enterprises in Ireland is greatly enhanced by the close people-to-people links with Poland.
The Trade Mission, jointly organised by the Embassy of Ireland and Enterprise Ireland in Warsaw included representatives of diverse Irish companies and their Polish partners.
During his visit to Poland, Minister Nash visited Irish companies in the Warsaw area, addressed an Irish-Polish business seminar, met with Polish government, and with members of the local Irish community and the Irish Chamber of Commerce in Poland.
