Think (in) visual communication

Irish designers Simon Roche and Hilary Kenna joined the international design conference think (in) visual communication in Warsaw. Simon's two day workshop on mapping challenged design students to consider how we interact with urban environments and produced some outstanding prototypes. Hilary's lecture on Unexpected Outcomes in Visualisation in the Design Process was very energising and provoked plenty of feedback. With invitations to return to design schools in Warsaw and Katowice in 2015, we're glad to have got the Irish Year of Design 2015 off to an early start in Poland.
