Authenticating documents

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade can authenticate documents created in Ireland, while the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria can authenticate Nigerian documents.

For Documents originating in Ireland:

A fee of the local currency equivalent of €40 is payable for each document authenticated. Use the "Contact Us" tab to ask us whether your document can be authenticated.

For Documents originating in Nigeria:

Contact Us to request information about authenticating a document which originated in Nigeria.
