Team Ireland in China
The Embassy works to pursue opportunities to enhance the political and economic relationship between Ireland and China that will deliver economic growth and jobs; promote Ireland and the Irish Arts; and maintain and enhance links with our Irish diaspora.
We work closely with our State Agencies in China (Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland and Tourism Ireland) to promote trade, tourism and inward investment.
We can:
- Support Irish companies who want to access the Chinese market
- Provide general advice on doing business locally and, through our network of contacts, pursue opportunities that will benefit Ireland
- Work to secure market access for Irish products in key sectors
- Promote Ireland as a location for tourism, for education and for investment
The Embassy and our two Consulates (in Shanghai and Hong Kong) also provide consular assistance to Irish citizens resident in and visiting China.
Working with the right expertise in relevant state agencies is part of our successful strategy.
