Irish poet Paula Meehan in Ottawa

Canadian holiday makers visiting Ireland has increased by 80% since 2010

Tourism Ireland reports that the number of Canadian holiday-makers visiting Ireland has increased dramatically in recent years, growing by 80% since 2010.  The North American market reached new record levels in 2013 and again in 2014, and is now Ireland’s second largest source market, behind Continental Europe, with Britain in third spot.
